Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SonoLynx (the "Platform"), operated by Bricklix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users, including sonographers, radiologists, clinical administrators, and institutional customers.

2. Description of Service

SonoLynx is a clinical workflow software platform designed for structured ultrasound reporting, patient registration, diagnostic worksheet management, DICOM image association, HL7 message transmission, and radiology report generation. SonoLynx does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All clinical decisions remain the sole responsibility of qualified medical professionals.

3. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for use by licensed healthcare facilities and qualified clinical personnel only. By registering, you represent that you are authorized to access protected health information (PHI) under applicable laws, including HIPAA (where applicable), and that your use complies with your organization's data governance policies.

4. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share login details with unauthorized individuals. SonoLynx implements role-based access control (RBAC), automatic session timeouts, and full audit logging to support your compliance obligations. You must notify us immediately at connect@sonolynx.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content designed to disrupt Platform functionality.
• Use the Platform to store or transmit PHI outside of a properly executed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Bricklix.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise distribute access to the Platform without written consent.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. SonoLynx processes clinical data only for the purposes of providing the Platform services. We do not sell patient data to third parties. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Customers subject to HIPAA must execute a Business Associate Agreement with Bricklix prior to storing PHI on the Platform.

7. Subscription & Billing

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in writing. Bricklix reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, interfaces, documentation, and content comprising the Platform are the exclusive property of Bricklix or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended clinical workflow purpose. No ownership rights are transferred.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bricklix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to clinical errors resulting from incorrect data entry, system downtime, or third-party integration failures. The Platform is a workflow tool and does not replace clinical judgment.

10. Termination

Bricklix reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or any conduct that poses a risk to other users or the Platform's integrity. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless otherwise required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

Bricklix may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of DuPage County, Illinois.
